Colleen D’Alfonso, CPA, Partner
Colleen is a partner at Daniel Dennis & Company LLP with over 17 years of experience in the public accounting industry. She focuses on providing audit and consulting services to charter schools, the affordable housing industry and nonprofit organizations.
Colleen works extensively within the charter school industry. Her expertise includes providing audit services to charter schools under Government Auditing Standards and Uniform Guidance in addition to providing consulting services for start-up charter schools, close-out charter schools and financing options inclusive of New Market Tax Credits and Qualified Zone Academy Bonds (QZAB). Additionally, she has significant experience with the affordable housing industry including the reporting and tax requirements of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD), Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Federal and State Historic Rehabilitation Credits and Bond Financing.
When away from the office Colleen enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys running. She completed the Boston Marathon four times.
